The M.Sc is a two-year, full-time postgraduate degree program divided into four semesters, designed to prepare graduates to practice professional nursing and midwifery across a range of healthcare settings, including both public and private sectors.

The program follows a credit-based semester system in alignment with the guidelines of regulatory authorities, with adaptations suitable for professional education. It features a structured blend of foundational, core, and elective courses, integrating both theoretical and practical learning. Electives are offered under a Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS) in modular form, while modular learning is also embedded within foundational and core courses as a mandatory component.

This program aims to develop competent and compassionate nursing professionals who are proficient in generalized nursing practices, including midwifery. Emphasis is placed on mastery of essential competencies, with a strong focus on clinical skills, critical thinking, and ethical practice.

Students are trained through a mix of classroom instruction, skill labs, simulation environments, and clinical placements, ensuring hands-on experience and real-world application of nursing principles.
