The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course is a skill-based training program designed to prepare individuals to provide critical pre-hospital care in emergency situations. EMTs are trained in a wide range of life-saving procedures, including vascular (V) cannulation, oxygen therapy, physical examination, assisting in emergency childbirth and essential newborn care, automated external defibrillation (AED), airway management, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), spinal immobilization, bleeding control, and fracture stabilization.

In addition, EMTs receive training in the administration of medications—strictly under the guidance of a licensed medical professional, typically through radio or telephone communication. This course equips participants with the essential skills and knowledge required to respond swiftly and effectively to medical emergencies in ambulances, trauma centers, and disaster response settings.
